You know...falling onto the toilet instead of sitting because your legs are in too much pain to get down on the seat slowly, taking 10 minutes to go up the steps, walking with a limp while every step enables one eye to shut and your teeth to clench together while letting out painful grunts...basically anything that requires any kind of mobility causes a substantial amount of pain.
So, combine that kind of pain with tonight's workout, and guess what you get? You got it, more pain!!!
Tonight's workout was the following;
Just to clarify, that's 150 double unders or 450 singles, 100 pull-ups, and 50 thrusters on each arm.
Then, what the heck, let's carry another 70 pounds and walk for 2 minutes.
This workout took me forever! I did doubles the whole way so I'm proud about that but they really slow me down. Once I lose the rhythm, I lose it all... I used 18lbs for thrusters and so did mom. My pull-up bands were all over the place, I started with skinny red, then went to green, then added the red to the green (the pull-ups got way too hard as I went on and I had to keep adding assistance). Mom used the green the entire time, she did great!!!! Thrusters were so hard because my legs were burning from Monday.
I can tell you one thing, by the end of this workout, my legs were the least of my troubles and same with mom. Arms were on fire and body was spent!!!!
Results of the workout:
First is time it took for all 10 rounds then how many meters for farmers carry. Mom did 600 and I did 400. She kicked my butt tonight!!!! So proud!
So exhausted!
